My Various Personas & Emotions

A patron once said that I “paint the spectrum of human emotions, giving two-dimensional form and mass to something more transcient.” My personas range from Disciplined Professional Woman to Gypsy Rose to Martha Stewart II.

The Journey of Life

Adaptation, change, experientialism, environmentalism, intuition, journeying, metaphor, morphing, multi-dimensionalism, proteanism, regeneration, Self/Other, transition, and transformation, in both content and materials, is consistently present.

Use of found objects acknowledges their journey from one life or meaning to another– from original use to a new role via re-use.

Current writing projects include: Collecting Soul, a photo-narrative of the design and evolving meaning of possessions with which we surround ourselves; Change and Transformation; and The ECOlogy of Women’s Lives: Expectations, Crossroads, and Outcomes.

My Life

Various lives in various states/States, generally in the Midwest, Southwest, and California.
I consider Home to be The West.
